本稿は,「Futsal(フットサル)」の発展経緯を概略した上で,フットサル施設に足を運ぶプレイヤーの活動状況やフットサルに対する意識を調べるために「フットサルについてのアンケート調査」を実施し,フットサルを楽しむ人々の活動頻度や活動場所,全国リーグである「Fリーグ」の認知や観戦,フットサル施設やサービスの現状に対する希望・要望,フットサルに対して持つ意識やイメージを調べ,プレイヤーの視点に立った現状を多角的に明らかにし,今後の日本サッカー,フットサル界の発展に資する資料を得ることを目的とする研究(「フットサルの現状と展望(I)」 大阪教育大学紀要 第IV部門 58-2 pp.35-52 2010.2., 「フットサルの現状と展望(II)」大阪教育大学紀要 第IV部門 59-1 pp.27-42 2010.9.)の第3報である。本稿では,最終報として,(1)本研究全体の要約と,(2)日本のフットサルの展望について論述する。

“Futsal" is meaning of “indoor football". “Futsal" is a compound word of “fut" and “sal" derives from Spanish "fútbal sala" and Portuguese “fútebol de salão". In recent years, Futsal is one of the most popular sports in Japan. The purpose of this study was to examine the current status and the future prospects of Futsal in Japan by analyzing the“Survey on Futsal " for the Futsal players who go to the Futsal facilities periodically. The data was collected from 506 adult Futsal players who go to the private Futsal facilities periodically in Kobe City (Hyogo Prefecture) by questionnaire method from 2007.10 to 12. This is the continued study from the previous report with the same titles “ The Current Status and Future Prospects of Futsal(I)" ( Memoirs of Osaka Kyoiku University, Ser.IV.Vol.58-2.,2010.3., pp.35-52.). and “ The Current Status and Future Prospects of Futsal(II)" ( Memoirs of Osaka Kyoiku University, Ser.IV.Vol.59-1.,2010.9., pp.27-42.). Especially, the purpose of the present study is to summarize the current status of Futsal in Japan and to try to advance the future prospects of Futsal in Japan.
