E. E. カミングズ自身が自作の詩と散文を朗読したレコードがある。その中から詩をいくつか選び,コンピュータ音声分析装置によって解析して,カミングズの詩法の特徴を明らかにする。1)本論文は,本学教養学科大学院研究科(英米言語文化研究)にて開講中の応用言語学クラスの2007年度後期の演習内容の紹介である。

E. E. Cummings has recorded some of his own poetry and prose, whereof we have selected a few and examined them scientifically by Computerized Speech Laboratory (CSL) in an attempt to disclose his poetic arts. A series of essays report how our students in the graduate school of applied linguistics class have made a practice. This is the seventh essay.
