Kamio(1994)で修正された「情報のなわ張り理論」は、情報が話し手、聞き手のなわ張りに入るか、入らないかの二値的な考え方から、情報が話し手、聞き手のなわ張り双方にどの程度入っているか（入っていないか）の多値的（相対的）考え方に変化した。理論が説明対象としているのは単一の発話形式であるが、情報のなわ張り関係と文形式との対応関係に若干（かつ必要な）修正を施せば、対話レベルの現象も自然に説明できる理論になりうることを、本稿では「発言－肯定応答」という隣接対の言語形式に着目して考察した。@@@The theory of territory of information, proposed in Kamio (1994), concerns the relationship between the form of utterances and the cases created by the speaker's estimation of his/her and the hearer's psychological distance toward a given piece of information. The relative territorial relation between the participant of a conversation and a given piece of information is the most crucial in his theory. In Japanese, he proposed, six cases are at least relevant and the four types of utterance, mingled with each other, classified according to them. Unfortunately, the arguments he provided center around the form of a single utterance. In this paper we investigate the possibility of the extension of the theory to discourse by exploring the naturalness of "statement - positive response" adjacency pairs. By so doing, we will show that the theory will be explanatory for natural flow of discourse by improving some specifications of the cases of territorial relations proposed originally in Kamio (1994).
