The purpose of this study is to develop and demonstrate effective ESD practices that can be tackled anywhere. Most teachers in Japan do not have time to practice ESD, so it is necessary to develop effective teaching methods and materials for ESD. As an effort to function even without a resident staff, I devised an approach using a Bulletin Board as a dialog tool. And, I did "Photo Language" on that board. The elementary students posted what they noticed from the pictures. In addition, I analyzed the students' submissions and remarks. Despite the pictures taken in Zambia, many children regarded the situation of rice cultivation as "the same as themselves". And also, they found and accept "the difference." Through observation, I confirmed that they are doing cooperative learning. It became clear that this effort is effective for children to recognize the connection between the world and their lives.
