Why did Wittgenstein prefer to publish Philosophical Investigations in the form of an album of various reflections on the use of everyday concrete examples to resolve philosophical problems, instead of compiling these reflections in one systematic book? Concrete examples of everyday language use are normal uses of words with clearly defined meanings. If we demonstrate the normal use of a word through a direct definition and examine its use by those who understand it and its definition, we can verify whether the word is being used correctly. Alternatively, assuming that Wittgenstein in fact provided an explicit definition of the word to each philosopher. is difficult. However, even without explicit definitions, Wittgenstein corrects the language use of philosophers who have fallen into a wrong or an abnormal use of language. He guides them in comparing the use of words in the thesis in question with their use in reality. Philosophical Investigations was published in a form that was considered unfinished. However, he seems to have been convinced that the publication of a memorandum, as it were a direct definition, could describe solutions for philosophical problems through examples of everyday language use, and “better” encourage someone to think for himself compared with a systematic book in one volume.
