Ａ短期大学地域看護学専攻科全修了生94名を対象に，公衆衛生看護研究指導に対する教員の指導のあり方や，学生自身の取り組みを評価し，今後の研究指導に役立てるために自己記入式アンケート調査を実施した。研究のテーマ決定時に困ったことは，「見当がつかなかった」「イメージがつかめなかった」「不安であった」が多かった。教員の研究指導は，「研究指導の機会」「研究指導の求めやすさ」ともに66.7％の者が肯定的であった。研究に必要な技術や方法の指導の満足度では，「SPSSの操作方法」が74.5％と最も高かった。研究の段階ごとにみた研究指導の満足度は概ね75～76％と高かった。しかし，学生自身の研究プロセスでの理解度は「文献検索」「パワーポイント作成」の約75％と比較し，「SPSSの操作方法」は52.9％と最も低かった。今後はSPSSを研究の早い時期に導入すること，研究目的や研究背景を大切に研究指導に取り組む必要がある。　Including all 94 graduates of a community health nursing course at A Junior College as subjects, the nature of instructor guidance in public health nursing research supervision and the approaches taken by the students themselves were evaluated, and in order to make this useful for future research supervision, a self-completed questionnaire survey was carried out. Among the difficulties encountered when deciding upon a theme for research, "nothing came to mind", "couldn't grasp what was required" and "was uncomfortable with the task at hand" were common. With respect to research supervision, 66.7% responded positively for both "research supervision opportunities" and "availability of research supervision". With respect to the skills necessary for research and the satisfaction level of method supervision, "SPSS operating method" was the highest, at 74.5%. The research supervision satisfaction level seen at each research stage was high, at roughly 75 to 76%. However, with respect to the level of comprehension of the students themselves during the research process, "SPSS operating method" was the lowest, at 52.9%, in contrast with about 75% for "bibliographic retrieval" and "Power Point creation". Going forward, it will therefore be necessary to approach research supervision by introducing SPSS into research at an early stage, while also placing emphasis on research objectives and research background materials.
