<p>There are several cases that crawler-type vehicles traveling on uneven terrain become inoperable. It has been reported that differences in the crawler tension are related to the running performance. Therefore, we have focused on the crawler tension and drive torque. The relationship between these two was investigated through experiments. As a result, a linear relationship was found between the tension and the drive torque. We compared to the friction loss and the mechanical energy input, and found that the effect of friction loss was significant.</p>
