- 低レイノルズ数領域における円弧翼の数値解析
Abstract
<p>Recently, with the advance of Micro Air Vehicle(MAV)and Mars exploratory airplane, there is a need to understand low Reynolds number flows. The objective of this study is to investigate the aerodynamic characteristics of a thin circular arc airfoil at low Reynolds numbers. Cartesian - mesh - based Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)was used to clarify the flow field of a thin circular arc airfoil with a camber of 3% chord at Reynolds numbers of 1.0 × 103 and 1.0 × 104. The results of this analysis were compared with the results of wind tunnel tests. As a result, qualitative agreement was obtained with the experimental results.</p>
