Abstract

This paper proposes the method for shooting and synthesizing ultra high resolution images using a pixel shifted continuous shooting camera and frame selective multi frame super resolution processing. High resolution composite images are reconstructed by multi frame super resolution by selecting the frame image that is not affected by shooting blur or atmospheric fluctuations from pixel shifted continuous shooting frame images. In the experiment assuming the application of a surveillance camera, it was confirmed that a clear ultra high resolution zoom image can be taken with the shooting blur and atmospheric fluctuations removed.
