Description
The Mangghuer language belongs to the Mongolic languages and is spoken in Guanting town in the southeast of Minhe Hui and Tu Autonomous County, Qinghai province, China. From the typological viewpoint of predicate forms in the Mongolic languages, they are divided into three groups, i.e. one has personal endings of predicate forms such as the Buryad language, another has no personal endings like the Mongolian language, and the other has subjective / objective forms just like the Mangghuer language. As for the usage of predicate forms of the language, especially the differences between subjective / objective forms, it was made clear as a result of the research that the Mangghuer language has three basic rules focusing on affirmative sentences and interrogatives( yes-no questions), and also has four cases they cannot be applied to.
