- Endoscopic ultrasound-guided cyst drainage: report of three cases

<p>Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under ultrasound endoscopy (EUS), which began with EUS-FNA, have expanded its realms. Recently, endoscopic ultrasound-guided cyst drainage (EUS-AD) are increasing its applications to various infected cavities that originated from causes other than pancreatitis. We experienced three cases of EUS-AD to abscesses that were not caused by pancreatitis. In all of these cases, improvement was seen with EUS-AD, and open surgery was avoided.</p>
