Abstract

Tenrikyo which has its head office at Tenri city in Nara is a religion which has a founder NAKAYAMA Miki(1798-1887) who is said to have been a "shrine" of God since 1838. So you can see the founder began Tenrikyo. In fact the founder presented the doctorine and ritual of Tenrikyo to people. But we can say this presentation was possible because not only people but also NAKAYAMA Miki hoped the renovation of the order of the world as a whole in the period around the restoration when institutions of the nation and the way of life in houses change rapidly. And we can say the ritual which she began to do in order to clear troubles around her in daily life was developed, because it was accepted and participated by people. And we can say further, Tenrikyo's doctorine that the God of the founder relieve all the people in the world because it made humane and this world at Nakayama's house had to be established because even the participants resisted the activity for the realization of salvation which she demanded. In brief, Tenrikyo one of the religions which communicate with the existence which surpasses humane beings, emerged on the above conditions of social situations and relationships.
