Abstract
In the era of Society 5.0, cyber physical space interacts with each other, and new design, evaluation, and verification of radio systems must be realized in a short time. In this paper, we introduce our research and development efforts based on ray tracing to develop a radio propagation model that can be emulated on a cyber physical system. We describe the study of the radio propagation model in a scenario of wide area environment, such as a bridge infrastructure inspection by drone, and in a scenario of a narrow space, such as a smart factory, where people and machines are moving. In addition, since 3D modeling of structures is important for the analysis of radio propagation, we describe our research on 3D modeling for ray tracing from point cloud data.
