Abstract

<p>The so-called Searcher Exam started in 1985 with the aim of objectively certifying the knowledge and skills required of searchers and raising social cognition of those abilities. It has been 30 years since its inception, and search technology has evolved during that time, and the system has changed several times. While looking back on history, we will discuss the contents of the current Qualifying Examination for Information Specialist, the required knowledge and abilities, and study methods.</p>
