[要旨]本稿の課題は，国際労働機関（ILO）創設期における国際労働規制の影響力はどの程度のものであったのかについて，1919年のILO第１号条約（「工業的企業に於ける労働時間を１日８時間且１週48時間に制限する条約」）を事例として検討することにある。今回は，連載の８回目であり，第二次世界大戦後の1947年に制定された労働基準法に対して，ILOおよび第１号条約は，どのような影響を与えたのかを検討している。厚生省労働保護課は，ILO条約に依拠して法案を作成しており，労働基準法には８時間労働制が明記された。 [Abstract] The purpose of this article is to consider the case of the first Convention of the ILO in 1919 (Hours of Work) while examining the influence of international labor regulations during the founding of the International Labour standards. This article, the eighth part of the series, considers how the ILO and the first Convention influenced the Labor Standards Act enacted in 1947 after World War II. The Labor Protection Division of the Ministry of Health and Welfare drafted the bill based on ILO conventions, and the Labor Standards Act specified an eight-hour workday.
