Abstract

<p>Under the Law for Employment Promotion of Persons with Disabilities, companies are required to employ persons with disabilities equivalent to 2.3% of their workforce. In order to achieve the legally mandated employment rate, companies are beginning to focus on the employment of persons with disabilities, but what about employee awareness? In this survey, we analyzed the awareness of employees based on the open-ended portion of a questionnaire conducted by Company A, which has been making efforts to employ people with disabilities. As a result, there are differences in employee awareness toward the employment of people with disabilities depending on whether or not they are enrolled in the company and their level of knowledge regarding the employment of people with disabilities.</p>
