Abstract

A topcoat is applied to the surface of a polyurethane waterproofing membrane in order to enhance weather resistance. In actual buildings, a crack generated in the topcoat induces a crack in the waterproof material below the topcoat. Therefore, in this study, the fatigue resistance was verified focusing on the crack of the top coat using two kinds of fatigue test methods. As a result, it was shown that the number of repetitions until the crack was generated in the top coat could be explained by the maximum elongation rate of the top coat.
