市販のパイレックス製三ロフラスコを用い容易に作成出来る溶解熱熱量計を製作した。温度検出の感熱体にはサーミスターを採用した。装置の検定を行なったところ0.5calから70calの範囲にわたる熱量変化を精度よく測定出来ることがわかった。

A calorimeter employed for the measurement of the heat of solution was constructed. A three-necked Pyrex glass flask was used as the reaction cell. The temperature change with dissolution was detected by a thermistor-electric bridge system. The calibration indicated that the enthalpy change over the range 0.5-70 cal was measureable by the new calorimeter.
