積分溶解熱の測定のため等温壁熱量計を製作した。熱量計容器はパイレックス製ガラス容器である。溶解による温度変化はサーミスターブリッジを経て記録計で記録した。予備的実験の結果,記録紙上の変位量と変化熱量との間には±0.23%の精度で直線性が得られた。装置の較正のため塩化カリウムの水に対する溶解熱測定を30.00±0.01℃にて行なった。その結果,実験誤差範囲で4,076cal./mole.(1:2000H_2O)の値を得た。また,この値は文献値とほぼ一致した。

A new isothermal calorimeter was constructed for the measurement of the integral heat of solution. The calorimeter vessel was made of Pyrex glass. The temperature change due to dissolving a sample was recorded on a pen-recorder through a thermistor-bridge. By the preliminary experiment, a linear relation between the displacement on recorder and the thermal effect was obtained with an accuracy of ±0.23%. For a calibration of the instrument the measurement of the heat of solution of potassium chloride in water at 30.00±0.01℃ was carried out and we could obtain a value of 4076 cal./mole. (1:2000H_2O) within experimental errors, which was almost consistent with the value in use heretofore.
