Abstract

This paper examines the relationship with the ‘equipment’ incorporated into the structure by analyzing the creation and transformation of the lattice ‘honeycomb’ frame structure as a prototype in Cap-Martin. The ‘honeycomb’ frame has a genealogy in the ‘bottle rack’ frame and the walled vaulted roof of the ‘monol’ house but transforms into a framework structure based on a 226 cube. The frame structure allows free combinations of floor and ceiling surfaces and becomes a ‘new ornament’ for flexible adaptation to climate issues.
