説明

A case of necrosis of the left testis caused by the incarceration of left inguinal hernia was reported.The patient, a 6 day infant, showed clinically marked symptoms of acute intestinal obstruction and tumor in left inguinal region. Radical herniotomy by Lucas-Czampioniere-Czerny's method and left castration were done, and the testis showed features of hemorrhagic infarction histologically. As far as our review of the literature is concerned we have been unable to discover any other reports of necrosis of testis caused by incarceration of inguinal hernia.
