Description
(1) The purpose of this study is to show the necessity of university education to promote intergenerational exchange between the children generation and the elderly generation. ⇒(2) Research 1 shows the analysis and consideration concerning the result on questionnaire and good examples in nursery teacher training school. (3) Research Ⅱ was held in a questionnaire survey toward teachers at nursery training schools. The result showed the merits and challenges based on the activities of intergenerational exchange, the learning and challenges of students at the training stage and furthermore the contents and methods to be taught. (4) The result and consideration for Research I and Ⅱ show three abilities necessary to carry out intergenerational exchange as follows (1) understanding toward the elderly generation, (2) ability to practice intergenerational exchange, (3) ability to collaborate. Consequently, this result of the consideration led us to the conclusion that it should be necessary to reconsider curriculum because of differences in recognition and experience towards intergenerational exchange among universities and teachers there, so that students should acquire experiential learning of specific practice as workers to help children, significance and purpose of its intergenerational exchange and its specific practice content.
