Description

The author has developed various sorts of novel teaching materials for elementary-level piano learners, and those materials have been applied to a musical education in the “Lemie Music Academy”. In this article, one of those materials for a rhythm education, which are called “Rhythm Cards”, is introduced. In addition, the article also deals with an example of its application to the practical piano education. The author demonstrated that by applying the “Rhythm Cards” the learners could effectively understand rhythm patterns in the conventional books for piano practice. The author proposes that the educational method with those teaching materials should be called as the “Lemie Method”.
