Abstract

In recent years, environmental problems such as global warming and depletion of fossil fuels have become more serious, and hydrocarbon fuels and synthetic fuels have attracted attention as alternative fuels for the realization of a decarbonized society. In this study, we aim to reduce combustion products by using heptane fuels, and we aim to directly inject to the intake pipe of a small diesel engine. Reduction of combustion products was investigated by spraying a heptane solution. In addition, the influence of air inlet tube wall temperature was also considered.
