Abstract

<p>This study demonstrates a case study that quantitatively measures spatial accessibility to various types of facilities and analyzes the relationship the accessibility and sociodemographic variables. The study area is Nagoya-shi, Aichi, Japan. This study utilizes web-scraping technique and thereby creates spatial data of a wide range of types of facilities. The study shows some empirical findings. For example, we show the result that indicates that economically disadvantaged residents tend to lack accessibility to facilities needed in daily life.</p>
