Abstract

Compared to paper pamphlets, DP can greatly reduce costs, and because it is possible to revise prices on a case-by-case basis, the shift to DP was seen within the industry as a natural trend in line with the changing times. However, looking at tourist destinations, people working in hotels and the tourism industry have begun to say that DP may not be a sufficient substitute for paper pamphlets. Comparing the results by month, 250 people were getting on board in March, but in April it was only 27 people. The number of days that the tour was not held was 3 days in March, but 20 days in April. In addition, travelers from DP and OTA tend to be fully booked from the cheapest plan. It is said that the length of stay has clearly decreased when it comes to reservations from DP and OTA.
