Abstract

<p>  In addition to the minimally invasive nature of laparoscopic surgery, robot-assisted surgery has become popular due to the advantages of high-quality 3D images, intuitive operation, and delicate and complex forceps manipulation, making it possible to perform almost all major urological surgeries in Japan with robot assistance. However, problems during robot-assisted surgery can result in organ damage, inability to continue surgery, and worsening of postoperative outcomes due to difficulties in surgical manipulation, when management errors are compounded. Therefore, it is necessary to be familiar with the problems specific to robot-assisted surgery or the model of robot-assisted surgery when performing robot-assisted surgery. This paper outlines the differences and innovations in troubleshooting between daVinci and hinotori.</p>
