Abstract
<p> In this study, in order to evaluate the sloshing damage of water receiving tanks during an earthquake, we evaluated a pseudo-velocity response spectrum prediction formula for natural periods of 1 to 5 seconds corresponding to the fundamental sloshing natural period of water receiving tanks in the Kanto region. As a result of obtaining the pseudo-velocity response spectrum prediction formula by two-stage regression analysis, we were able to evaluate the observed values with high accuracy. Furthermore, using the obtained prediction formula, we evaluated the pseudo-velocity response spectrum and sloshing wave height of the receiving tank and evaluated the damage of the receiving tank container for the scenario earthquake.</p>
