Abstract

<p>This study analyzed 3 local public relations projects involving citizen participation, aiming to clarify the relationship between public relations and citizens' active participation in local community development. Participants provided materials, while professionals handled editing/design. The projects had a significant impact on promoting civic pride, understanding of the community, and facilitating new connections among participants/locals. However, their impact beyond the local community was minimal.</p>
