Abstract
<p> In order to discuss the hydraulic properties in the actual river, the authors have developed an observation method. The main target of the flow is the large size flood, which recently take place. Using the video camera mounted on UAV, PIV for velocity and SfM for water surface are implemented in order to obtain the total head. The flow generated at Chiyoda experimental facility is used for the measurements. From the observed results, micro-bed forms were recognized. The water depth was estimated from the hydraulic resistance. The energy loss were also estimated by using the energy slope along the streamline, which are above the micro-scale bed form, and the river protection works.</p>
