Abstract

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's i-Construction project, which aims to improve productivity at construction sites and make construction sites more attractive, has developed standards for as-built form management, supervision and inspection procedures, and as-built form management procedures for 3D measurement technology in order to promote the full use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology). As a result of the development of these standards, ICT construction, which started in 2008 for earthwork, has expanded to include pavement, dredging, ground improvement, and structural work, with the implementation rate reaching approximately 80% of all public announcements in FY2021. This paper summarizes the revisions of the guidelines for as-built form management by adopting the proposals from private organizations during FY2020 to FY2022, based on previous reports and conference materials. By adopting the proposals from private organizations, the guidelines were able to respond to the downsizing and simplification of measuring instruments and the simplification of measurement. On the other hand, the number of items in the guidelines has increased with each year's revision, and detailed explanations of additional types of work and methods of measurement accuracy verification were found to be insufficient. In order to improve the productivity in understanding the contents of the guidelines, we would like to consider how the guidelines should be written from the user's point of view.
