本研究は,初めてスクールソーシャルワーカーが配置型として勤務することになった2校の小学校における教員の意識の変容から,教員とスクールソーシャルワーカーの協働プロセスを明らかにし,効果的な協働を促進する要因を教員の視点から考察することを目的として行われた。教員へのインタビュー調査や自由記述による質問紙調査からは,配置1年度目は様々な要因で協働が進んだり停滞したりするが,2年度目になると協働が進み,2年度目の終わりごろにはスクールソーシャルワーカーが学校の教職員集団の中で役割を持った職員として位置づく様子が2校とも見られた。初期段階で協働が進む要因は教員の「自分たちのことをわかってくれている」という実感であるが,保護者との相談の成果や福祉的な視点の有効性を経験しながら,教員のスクールソーシャルワーカー活用の力量が増し,協働が進む様子が窺われた。教員と専門家の効果的な協働が早期に実現するためには,教員が専門家の専門性を実感をもって理解すること,教員が教員としての専門性を発揮することが必要であることが示唆された。

The purpose of this study was to clarify the collaborative process between teachers and school social workers from the school education perspective by examining the transformation of teacher awareness in two elementary schools where authorities first employed school social workers as placement types. Through interviews with teachers and questionnaires featuring open-ended questions, the study found that collaboration progressed or stagnated in the first year of placement due to various factors; however, collaboration progressed in the second year, and by the end of the second year, school social workers were seen to be positioned as the school's teaching staff with roles in both schools. The factor that promotes collaboration at the initial stages is teachers' feeling that “they understand us", but while they experience the results of consultation with parents and the effectiveness of welfare perspectives, it is observed that teachers' ability to utilize school social workers has increased, and that collaboration is progressing. These results suggest that it is necessary for teachers to have a real understanding of the expertise of experts in order to realize effective collaboration between teachers and experts at an early stage.
