Abstract

The purpose of this study was to conduct a questionnaire survey of students taking required physical education practice compulsory subject utilized a combination of face-to-face and on-demand remote learning in order to obtain materials that would be helpful in future classes. The subjects of this survey were 451 (99 men and 352 women). As a result, it was suggested that the exercise time of 70 minutes or more per week a reasonable setting. It was shown that men emphasized stretching, resistance training and aerobic exercise equally, while women emphasized stretching and less emphasis on resistance training. Compared to before the fall semester classes, there was a tendency for improvement in “stiff shoulders”, “low back pain”, “headaches”, “eye fatigue” and “feeling of depression” for both men and women. Regarding body shape, the percentage of respondents who said they were “to become toned” was higher than that of “to become loose”, and this was more noticeable in men. Regarding physical fitness, flexibility, muscular strength and cardiorespiratory endurance improved in that order, and this was more noticeable in men. The most useful distribution content was exercises to reduce fatigue for both men and women. Next content was resistance exercise for the trunk for men, and stretching for women, and there were differences between men and women. Approximately 2/3 of the students were positive about the posting of “Q&A” and “my tips for exercising and matters I would recommend to other students”. 88% of students were satisfied with the class. Satisfaction levels tended to be higher for women than for men. Even in the post-corona period, we believe that adding on-demand remote learning to face-to-face learning will expand the range of class content and contribute to increasing class satisfaction.
