<p>Mosquito collections were carried out using dry-ice traps at Nagura Amparu, Ishigaki Island, Japan, in June and August 2011 and March and September 2012. Dry-ice traps were placed at four collection sites with different surrounding environments in Nagura Amparu, such as a riverside, rice fields, a tree row and bushes, and one place in a residential area in Ishigaki City for comparison. A total of 6,558 females of 22 species in 8 genera were collected at Nagura Amparu.
