Description

<p>アルコール性ケトアシドーシス（alcoholic ketoacidosis，以下AKAと略す）は，アルコール常用者で栄養不良と，それに引き続く脱水が契機となり発症する疾患である。その特徴は陰イオンギャップの開大を伴う代謝性アシドーシスと，β-ヒドロキシ酪酸優位なケトン体の上昇である。本疾患はアメリカでは一般に広く認識された疾患であるが，本邦ではまだ十分に認識されていない。今回われわれは，AKAに関し当院での治療経験および文献的考察をもとに，疾患概念，疫学，病態生理，診断（臨床所見，検査所見），治療，合併症，剖検所見，予後について述べる。また，本邦で提唱されている大酒家突然死症候群とAKAとの関連についても述べた。</p>
