抄録

Major and minor elements in the two reference samples of Geological Survey of Japan, JB-1a (basalt) and JG-1a (granodiorite) were analyzed in four institutes with different analytical techniques. Water (H2O+, H2O-) were measured by gravimetry, silica by gravimetry and AAS, Fe(II) by titrimetry, P by spectrometry and other elements by flame-AAS. Alkali fusion or acid digestion with hydrofluoric acid were used for sample decomposition. Analytical values for Ti, Al, Mn, Mg, Ca, Na, K, Fe, Ni and Pb from different institutes were in good agreement each other within an error of ±2 %. The values for 22 elements in JB-1a were in good agreements with those of JB-1, but those for some other minor elements such as cobalt were defferent between the two standard rock samples.
