  Standards of calibration for vacuum gauges by direct comparison with reference gauge were described. Japanese standard, JIS Z 8750 (Methods of calibration for vacuum gauges), was established in 1962. International standard, ISO/TS 3567 (Vacuum gauges—Calibration by direct comparison with a reference gauge) was established in 2005.<br>
