Mean-Field(MF) effects on collective flows in heavy-ion collisions at SPS (40, 158AGeV) energies are investigated in a transport model with MF. Calculated results with momentum dependent MF qualitatively reproduce the experimental data of directed, and elliptic flows. From our results, we find that the MF effects are necessary not only upto AGS energies (%lsim;11AGeV) but even for SPS energies to explain collective flow data.
