Abstract

Alkaline papers have many advantages such as higher brightness, opacity and less deterioration.<br>Recently, the production of alkaline papers are increasing rapidly owing to above reasons.<br>The present paper especially focuses on printability, and describes the difference of physical properties between alkaline and acid papers in reference to printability test results.<br>Alkaline papers are found to have basically good runability and printability.
