抄録

Imaging technology for large format signs and displays is based on a combination of the inkjet and dye sublimation technologies; the dedicated media make it possible, despite the use of dye inks, to provide a high-density, rich gradation expression that is one of the features of AgX prints and to achieve three to five years of outdoor weatherability. Specific media having an ink-receiving layer and various functional layers are used in combination with the basic media, which consist of six layers including the fluorine layer that serves as the print surface layer. This combination makes the resulting prints applicable to a wide range of scenes and applications.
