Description
Measurement reproducibility and accuracy of the particle size distribution (PSD) of highly concentrated inorganic fine particle slurries by ultrasonic attenuation spectroscopy method were compared with those by the traditional methods such as laser diffraction and photon correlation method.<br>It was found that ultrasonic attenuation spectroscopy had industrially satisfied reproducibility and accuracy of PSD measurement compared with those by the traditional methods. Those results showed that the present method can be applicable to the evaluation of particle size of highly concentrated inorganic fine particle slurries without dilution and practical process control.
