抄録
A luminescent copper(I) complex bearing two bidentate ligands, a 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane and a 4,4′-dimethoxy-2,2′-bipyridine, was newly synthesized and characterized. The methoxy group substituents at 4- and 4′-position in the bipyridine were found to induce blue shift in the absorption maximum. The substitution allows to fine-tune the photophysics of the complexes.
