説明

Reinvestigation on the constitution of thalicarpine, previously, isolated from Thalictrum and Hernandia species, was descrived. Ullmann condensation product of L-6'-bromolaudanosine and N-methyllaurotetanine was identified with natural thalicarpine. Accordingly, the revised constitution of thalicarpine was established to have the formula IX.
