National Diet Library(NDL) has been holding a huge collection of Manga. We report how many titles of Manga magazines have been held and how Manga magazines are used by users at NDL, and our way of repair for Manga. NDL has been holding 1200 titles of Manga magazines in general, and 6 titles of top 15 titles are Manga magazines. It is difficult to make list of comics because our library classification doesn't match to them. Many of Manga are not well made as books. And many users read them at NDL. So many Manga have been damaged and such damaged Manga have been a problem for NDL. Damaged Manga comics or magazines are rebinded by the same way of other adhesive binding books/periodicals or repaired by Japanese paper.
