Abstract
Theoretical frameworks for evaluating surface phase diagrams in a semi-infinite mixed Ising alloy with a (1, 0, 0) surface are given, using the effective-field theory with correlations and the molecular-field theory. The effects of bulk and surface single-ion anisotropies on the transition temperature for surface ordering are investigated. We find some characteristic behavior of the surface magnetism due to the single-ion anisotropies.
