The current-voltage characteristics in superconducting foils are calculated for the case that the interaction between small pinning centres and fluxoids with the Abrikosov structure may be expressed by a sawtoothed pinning force varying with the period of the lattice spacing. The I-V curves have nonlinear characteristics due to the nonlinear motion of fluxoids around pinning centres. This effect is shown to be enhanced as the strength of the elementary pinning force is reduced.
