Abstract

Gamma-rays and internal conversion electrons from the 165Ho(α, 2n) 167Tm and 169Tm(α, 2n) 171Lu reactions were studied with a Ge(Li) detector and a beta-ray spectrometer. Excitation curves of these reactions were measured in the alpha-particle energies from 22 to 25 MeV.<BR>Rotational levels in the K=1⁄2+ ground-state band of 167Tm and the K=7⁄2+ ground-state band of 171Lu were assigned up to 23/2+ and 17/2+ levels, respectively.
