Abstract
Chiba University Library started approaching campus users by way of podcasting, which is becoming popular both in corporate and educational applications as an RSS-supported audio-visual content delivery method. The first adoption was the multilingual self-guided tour of the library for freshmen in the hope of library-related content naturally penetrating into students' portable audio appliances. The present article describes the philosophy, planning, installation, content creation and statistics and feedbacks of the podcasting project.
