The interim report of NII Next-generation Catalog Working Group was made public on March 2008. NII Catalog Information Service (NACSIS-CAT, NACSIS-ILL) is a bibliographic utility for academic libraries in Japan. The working group examined the future of the service and others in long term view. The report is the result of 2007. This article is review of the report.
