Description

Due to the fact that search engines are widely accepted into academic, a demand has increased year by year for the system, which enables users to search scattered academic resources on the internet efficiently. Development of efficient search systems for academic resources has been promoted. However there is a wide gap between users' expectations and system providers' intentions. This paper reports feature of metasearch system and integrated search system and also differences in search method of the two systems. Ex Libris' discovery and delivery solution known as Primo and Primo Central are featured in the paper.
